ultraHealth Agency is an elite staffing company that believes in culture, serving cities around the world. Dane Flanigan is recruiting for a contract facilities manager, that will be managing a department.

• Manages departmental regulatory compliance with TJC, NFPA, and OSHA.
• Manages all utility systems and maintains the structural integrity of the hospital building and its related facilities
• Evaluates, analyzes and projects the maintenance needs of the hospital
• Ensures all operations of preventative and corrective maintenance programs, environment of care, safety training
• Manages life safety equipment such as sprinkler systems, alarm and detection systems, fire extinguishers, fire doors and barriers
• Performs life safety functions such as fire drills, departmental fire drills, ILSM, and education of all hospital staff

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management of assigned people and is responsible for the team’s work performance, safety, quality, record keeping
• Responsible for the financial performance of the department, assists with developing operational and capital budgets,
• Oversees work done by contractors.
• Ensures all work complies with laws, regulations, policies, and certifications, reports noncompliance to leadership.
• Collaborates with department leaders for utility outages and other facility issues impacting department operations.
• Ensures adequate supplies, materials, tools, and equipment are on hand and available for technicians.
• Fosters a safe, success-oriented environment within the department; maintains neat, orderly, and clean work areas.

COMPENSATION

Salary: $16,000 per month

13 weeks contract

Benefits: Full Benefits after 60 days

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

•  Cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting
•  Management software such as Prolog
• Accounting cost management software such as CMiC
• Scheduling software such as Primavera

EXPERIENCE

• Four years healthcare maintenance
• Two years as a supervisor
• Knowledge of refrigeration, nurse call systems, fire alarm systems, elevators, pumps and motors, conveyors, compressors, HVAC, boilers, generators, chillers
• One year  construction experience
